Join KSDK’s Mike Roberts and Minds Eye Information Service to Celebrate Mardi Gras and Support the Visually Impaired Community at the Sixth Annual Soiree pour la Vue
Minds Eye Information Service will host their sixth annual Soiree pour la Vue fundraiser Thursday, Feb. 19 to raise money for the nonprofit radio reading service. Soiree pour la Vue will be held at Moulin Events and Meetings, located in Lafayette Square, beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $35 and may be reserved by calling 618-394-6221 or 314-241-3400, ext. 6221.
KSDK meteorologist Mike Roberts will host the event, guiding guests through a Mardi Gras themed evening of wine tastings, hors d’oeuvres, music, auctions and entertainment, featuring a special performance by Bob Kramer’s Marionnettes – one of the longest running puppetry theatres in the U.S. and a St. Louis tradition.
“The Soiree is a first-class event. All of the wine selections are new this year, and the auction items are impressive. Everyone will find something that they want at this auction – and the Marionnettes you have to see to believe,” said Sue Bolen, co-chair of the Soiree.
Auction items featured at Soiree pour la Vue include free LASIK eye procedures from Eggleston Cataract and Laser Institute, airline tickets, restaurant gift certificate packages, theatre tickets, hotel packages, tickets and a tour of The Muny Opera, Disney park hopper passes, wine baskets, designer jewelry, exclusive art pieces and plenty of other items to please bidders.
Soiree pour la Vue is sponsored by Moulin Events and Meetings, Lighthouse for the Blind, Bank of America, Kuhlmann Leavitt, Inc., Cecena’s Jewelry and A Basket Case.
