The Airwaves Society
Every 7 minutes, someone in American will become blind or visually impaired. Others will receive a medical diagnosis such as Parkinson’s Disease, Arthritis or Muscular Dystrophy that will eventually make it impossible for them to hold or turn the pages of conventional printed materials.
Minds Eye is the third oldest radio reading service in the United States. Each and every day, we bring the printed word to life to over 1,150 listeners in the St. Louis and Metro East area. Another 10,000 individuals have access to our broadcasts in nursing and retirement homes, senior citizen centers and hospitals. Our service is entirely free of charge! Without your support, we simply couldn’t bring the highest caliber of news and broad-based programming to our listeners.
Donor support is the cornerstone of Minds Eye Information Service. Over 35% operating budget comes from individuals like you who provide the resources to maintain the standards of programming excellence our listeners have come to know and expect.

You may become a member of the Airwave Society with a single gift or by making multiple contributions to reach a particular level during the fiscal year, July 1-June 30.
Donations to the Airwave Society may be made either in cash or by donating appreciated assets-including stock gifts, which may have significant tax advantages. Your tax-deductible support will assure the continuation and expansion of our broadcast services.
